New Site, New Features…Same Bella!

Well…she’s at it again.  Bella wants to make sure you are always getting the best of the best and she’s revamped the Bella Zadore lifestyle site to give you more features, info, tips and resources.  This time the girls are up front and giving it to you straight with Inspiration from Sophia, Travel with Jane and Goddess Living with professional jet-setter Helena (to name a few)….how can you go wrong?

Give your "Hart" this February!

This February give the gift of love to a good cause. Bella Zadore is supporting our February Goddess, Irena Hart and her foundation Harmony 4 Kidz. Harmony 4 Kidz is dedicated to becoming a leading organization that transforms the lives of homeless and needy children by providing shelters, educational and developmental programs.

On February 6, Irena Hart, Harmony 4 Kidz and the Westport Historical Society will be hosting a benefit concert at the Westport Town Hall featuring local and nationally recognized artists. Irena Hart a rising pop artist will be performing the song that sparked the Harmony 4 Kidz movement, “Save the World.”

Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase in advance or at the door from the Westport Historical Society (203.222.1424). Kids under 12 are admitted for free. Youth ages 8 – 18 are encouraged to participate and submit their ideas on “How to Save the World,” winners of the contest are selected to receive various prizes. There will be a silent auction and giveaways. Proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for music and art camps, schools and colleges including scholarships to Landmark Education.

Join Bella Zadore and Goddess, Irena Hart this February to share the love and encourage children to keep striving towards a better tomorrow.

New Year.....Reflect & Proceed

A WORD OF WISDOM FROM BELLA ZADORE GIRL, SOPHIA...

So many people make New Year Resolutions in the beginning of a new year and then wonder why they seldom remember their resolutions. The answer is simple over commitment! As women sometimes we fly around saving, helping, assisting, navigating and carrying so many things, causes and people. STOP.........slow down and DO NOT set yourself up for disappointment! REFLECT on your past decisions and PROCEED as a wiser person.

This is essential so that we now how to PROCEED in future situations. Think about what you were thankful for in 2009 and how you will REFLECT & PROCEED in the New Year.

And if you are tempted on making a New Year's Resolution....choose just 1 and then set a realistic goal and then take baby steps (with mini-goals) that will help you achieve it!

How Bella Zadore Found a Voice....

Our January Goddess is an international traveler! She is also very dear to our hearts because she is the one who has given Bella Zadore a voice. Valeria provides the image and the thought while Jane whips up the perfect delicious phrases that Bella fans have grown to love, admire and laugh with. They are like two chefs working in a divine team, one providing you with the pastry and the other with the perfect toppings.

Jane Rushmore is a journalist by day and an avid globetrotter by night. You never know where she will pick up the phone when you call her. Last stop for Jane was in Slovenia, a little country sandwich in Europe near Italy. That's the kind of girl Jane is, eager to discover and uncover the unknown, abstract and interesting. For the last three years Jane's travels have taken her from England to Prague and she's excited to discover new lands, cultures and people for years to come.

However, writing for Bella Zadore has become a task she has taken dear to her heart. Embodying the Bella Zadore message in phrases that all women could relate to across the various demographics that sometimes keep us a part is a challenge, but with Jane's background and keen sense for tapping into the human condition she's sculpted phrases that women from all over have come to enjoy! We sat down with Jane and Valeria and found out how they got together. A fun story about how two women found each other amongst a crowd and built a friendship and birthed Bella. On Bella Zadore Radio we got all the details on how Jane started as a journalist to how she became a travel writer and then met Valeria. She's interesting and engaging. Putting the "Hart" into February....

Our upcoming Goddess, Irena Hart, is a force to be reckoned with. She is a rising dance/pop diva and performs all over the country. Although she is able to transmit infectious grooves into the atmosphere and get bodies moving on the dance floor, she’s also an avid activist. Irena Hart works just as hard for her non-profit organization, Harmonyz 4 Kidz, as she does on stage. February promises to be special and filled with love, especially when you have “Hart” stirring things up!

Laura's Got a Shadow...

Bella Zadore girl, Laura who provides you with Art & Culture happenings in and around the east coast on the Bella website has got a shadow. Her name....Christina Outlaw. Christina is the voice of Laura and brings her to life. Christina and Laura have a lot in common they are both 24 and love Chicago! They are fun loving artists who can't live without music. So it appears that the decision for Christina to help give Laura a voice was the right decision.

Christina works with Valeria Roncoli Studio assisting with the development of the Bella Zadore brand, along with marketing and media management. She is also a freelance photographer and filmmaker. Find out more about Christina and see her portfolio.

Soirees have to be the best kind of Parties...

The November Goddess Soiree was absolutely amazing. We had two fantastic Goddesses who shared great information and kept everyone engaged! The new Bella Zadore Goddess mugs were a hit and our HAT CONTEST was one of the highlights of the evening!

If you missed our Soiree, don't worry we're busy in the studio planning our next few events and we promise to make sure to keep things exciting, fun and interesting. Our Goddesses Wendy Battles, The Clean Eating Coach and Dale Allen of "In Our Right Minds" were absolutely phenomenal. Wendy shared some reasons why clean eating could contribute to bettering our health, mood and overall well-being. Dale gave a preview of her one-woman show "In Our Right Minds", which she performed the following evening. Then we finished the night with our 1st ever HAT CONTEST. We asked all Goddesses to wear the hat that best describes their personality. Our Goddesses really came prepared and had some fantastic stories behind their hats! Then as our guests prepared to take their leave they left with a "Thank You", Bella Zadore favors filled with chocolate candies.

Are You “Right” Where You Need to BE?

Our November Goddess, Dale Allen of "In Our Right Minds" is an amazing performer. She brings her years of corporate communications and public speaking to the stage by effortlessly transmitting the message of the Goddess Archetype - a metaphor of right-brain wisdom. According to her show the Goddess Archetype is an innate connection with our feminine side.

The show has been described as emotional, hilarious, inspiring and thought provoking! Dale Allen has visited colleges & universities, women conferences and corporations throughout the country and abroad. We sat Dale down for her Goddess interview on Bella Zadore Radio and we found out what really motivates this trailblazer to travel so many places communicating such a powerful message.In her interview we found out how she got started traveling in her one-woman show and why "In Our Right Minds" is so important to her.

"Bella-Talk"

It's your chance to be witty and put your creativity to work. Our December "Bella-Talk" Contest, will have our jury of Goddesses select three of the best quotes to be included on Bella Zadore products and advertisements. The writers of these quotes will win a collection of new products before they hit stores. Deadline for submissions, December 31 2009. Winners will be announced in January and will appear on the Bella Zadore site and blog. If you want to exercise your "Bella-Talk" stay tuned...we will announce the start date for accepting submissions.

The Voice of Bella...

She travels to experience other cultures and see the wonders of the world, but not just for fun, it's her job! Jane Rushmore is an international travel and food critic for the New Haven Register and New Haven Advocate. She is also the woman who gave a voice to Bella Zadore. Jane is the writer behind Bella, in December find out just how everything started and how the birth of Bella became a reality.

The Doctor is In!

Dr. Mark Carrano is now a "Your Temple" expert. On the Bella Zadore site, "Your Temple" is a page that discusses women health issues and has 'Recipe Tips' by Valencia and 'Exercise Tips' by Mara. Dr. Mark will be schooling all you Goddesses on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Mark also happens to be the only guy on the Bella Zadore Community, he's there to answer specific questions or concerns and he will soon have his own discussion group.

Are You In Your Right Mind?

Our upcoming Goddess for November, Dale Allen, has created a dynamic, charming and simply fun one-woman show that inspires women and men alike to explore their innate feminine qualities - creativity, nurturer and compassion. She has been performing her show, "In Our Right Minds," for about 4 years and looks forward to continuing to encourage people to embrace their right-brain qualities. She will be performing a snippet of her show at our November Goddess Soiree on November 10th and you catch the entire show on November 11th at the American Legion in Fairfield, CT. You don't want to miss the chance to see Dale Allen whose show has been equated to "...a Cape-Canaveral lift off."

Fresh Face, Fresh Products

Our online store has a new look and a new name, La Chic Boutique. We felt with all the changes we've been making lately we should give some TLC to the Bella Zadore Mall.

We premiered our brand new Goddess line at our launch party in September. It was a hit. Everyone was asking, "What store can I find these in?" The wait will soon be over. We developed our Goddess line to include more than the 3 original designs and the entire collection of mugs, id cases, compacts, bookmarks and luggage tags will debut at La Chic Boutique in just a few weeks!

Oui, Oui...

It's really turning out to be the year for Bella Zadore and the girls. The girls are going to hop the great pond and land in Paris and they are going first class. Yep, we have just signed with the licensing management company, 2-Dream, to represent the Bella Zadore brand and now Bella and the girls have the opportunity to inspire the eastern hemisphere. We're so happy to announce this new development with the Bella Zadore brand. We predict nothing but great things with the team from 2-Dream Group.

We have to cater to the masses, especially our new Bella fans in the grand country of France. Now when you go to Bella Zadore site you have the choice to read in English or French. So, if you ever find yourself in France you don't have to take Bella with you she'll be there to greet you!

Mad Over Food!

This month our Goddess, Wendy Battles, The Clean Eating Coach has been making an impact on our Bella Zadore Community. Wendy is a cheerful advocate for healthy eating. Most people think about eating healthy as boring and tedious, but with The Clean Eating Coach you receive delicious recipes, strategies to meal planning that fit your lifestyle and an energetic cheerleader to encourage you to keep up the good work.

Wendy has helped many of her clients change their minds about how they think about food and how what they eat reflects how they take care of themselves. It is Wendy's philosophy that eating more healthfully is a way to show your body some love. Through her services she allows clients to gain access to a wealth of information that helps educate them on what other foods are out there beside cheeseburgers, spaghetti and fast food. Sometimes the most exciting advice she shares is how to make our favorite indulgences into healthy alternatives.

She stopped by the studio this month to become officially a part of the Goddess Series on Bella Zadore Radio. In the interview we find out how a hectic life of over-commitment contributed to her decision to make a change and pursue being a health coach. We also got to see how much fun you can have with food and how much Wendy enjoy's talking about helping others.
